This site is for those who can’t forgive something. The unforgivable has happened. You have tried to forgive, maybe many times. You want to forgive and get on with your life— to finally be free from the suffocating memory– but you can’t. Welcome.
In fact, to do what most forgiveness experts say and ‘Just choose to forgive’, is very often a disguised act of further self-victimization. Aren’t you still very hurt? Angry? Enraged? Diminished? Afraid? Depressed? Vengeful? Yeah? Then this is the site for you.
Can’t Forgive.com offers victims a site where they can freely and anonymously post their true feelings. If you need some suggested structure, consider these topics:
Share what the perpetrator did to you. The perpetrator could be an individual, a group, an institution, or even God Himself.
Share what the perpetrator took from you.
Put a value (monetary or otherwise) to your losses and then share what you want the perpetrator to do before you would be really willing to even begin to forgive them.
This is a site where you can finally begin to get the monkey off your back. We won’t think less of you because down deep you really haven’t forgiven the perpetrator—or if you put down that you want the perp to walk on crush glass for a mile.
