Step 2

#2 -Identify what was taken from you
Proposition 1 says that “All crimes cause debts.” Not only was something done to you, the bad guy/gal took something from you as well. This step is harder to get your head around. Take a look at the following list. When they did the crime to you (last step) what did they take? Maybe it was money or material goods? Maybe it was an opportunity (career, etc.)? Write it down. No doubt more was taken from you. Victims express two phenomenons post-violation. They experience the loss of something and the presence of something new. Go through the list and identify the items that really ring true to you and your situation. This is the hardest step. No one wants to admit that they really let someone take something so vaulable from them.
