Proposition 5
Your heart expects fair and objective punishment and restoration before you are free to ‘forgive’.
First, your heart expects perfect and objective punishment for all of the violations against you. Secondly, your heart expects full restoration in the place of your deepest pain—your greatest loss. Your heart rightly demands what was taken from you, including self-esteem, joy, peace, fullness of life, freedom be restored. The Jews have a word for this—‘shalom’.
